Physical and Health Education

Physical and health education are a lot more than what people may assume. Within these courses you can learn how to live a long, healthy, and happy life. Through physical and health education, one can learn many beneficial skills and traits. With knowing these skills and traits comes confidence in whatever physical or mental challenge is at hand. Physical activity doesn’t only make you healthier, it makes you feel better, both physically and mentally. It increases mental sharpness and allows a person to be the best they can be. Overall physical and health education offers the opportunity for students to make the best of themselves by laying down physical and mental challenges that students must overcome in order to become a stronger person all around.

WordPress will be an amazing tool to use while student teaching and when I become a teacher because it will allow me to post my experiences so that others can see. I plan on using word press in my near future in order to show others how my teaching experience is going and what I am learning.

Exit Interviews and TLC due dates:

Hello future colleagues, I hope this finds you all doing well and your teaching experiences running smoothly. A few things to note, your exit interview date will be determined shortly as we need to figure out schedules, finals, etc. for that last week, but tentatively set for the last week. I will let you know the actual date as soon as it is set! Your TLC’s will be due no later than Friday, May 1st. Please make a note on your calendars. At that time, I will review each TLC and make sure you have met all necessary components and if there is an issue, you will be given time to correct, add, &/or revise. As a department, we also need time to review your portfolio’s so they will be due early May as well (I will have that conversation with Rachelle Hunt and get that information back to you as well). If you have any questions or concerns, please post them here and make sure you check the “send me an email notification” box below the reply box. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you all soon! Angie
